Part 2/12:
Members of SEAL Team 6’s renowned Red Squadron, the same unit responsible for the mission that killed Osama bin Laden, were tasked with infiltrating North Korean shores. The operation deployed a nuclear-powered submarine, which was followed by two miniature wet subs carrying the commandos. These "wet subs" required divers to remain submerged for nearly two hours, navigating frigid waters before reaching the North Korean coastline.
Once ashore, eight SEALs swam to install the electronic device. However, the mission was compromised when a nearby North Korean vessel, later found to be a fishing boat with unarmed civilians onboard, approached and began searching the area. Fearing detection, the team opened fire, killing all aboard and prompting their withdrawal without completing the objective.
