Labelling the measures as surreal is almost an understatement—disinfecting hotel suites, removing mattresses, and even running metal detectors over seats have become routine. Kim’s security team is so meticulous that during a 2023 visit to a Russian spaceport, guards disinfected his chair and tested it with a metal detector beforehand.
