The band’s 1990 album Ritual de lo Habitual alludes to their ritualistic drug habits, with Farrell admitting they were heavily into heroin and speedballs daily, describing their routine as a dangerous ritual. Farrell openly professed that heroin was "great," comparing its risks to those of driving, showing a cavalier attitude towards the substance that claimed many lives within their circle.
