He blamed himself for the group's collapse, acknowledging his drug abuse as a significant factor. When Jane’s Addiction reunited in 1997, Navarro relapsed into heroin use, and Farrell admitted helping him acquire the drug, which temporarily derailed Navarro’s path to sobriety.
