Part 7/12:
Adding to the week's tragedies, Texas is enduring one of the deadliest flood events in U.S. history. The July 4th floods have claimed over 100 lives, overwhelmingly affecting Kerr County's Camp Mystic, a Christian girls’ retreat along the Guadalupe River. The swift rise of floodwaters, less than an hour before dawn, led to at least 27 confirmed deaths, with 10 still missing, including 70-year-old camp co-owner Richard Eastland, who drowned during rescue attempts.
