The aid organization, Gaza Humanitarian Fund, warned that the attack was deliberate and intended to sabotage relief efforts. Founded in May to bypass Hamas-controlled distribution channels, the GHF provides direct aid to civilians and has become a thorn in Hamas’s efforts to divert and manipulate aid for their military and propaganda campaigns. Hamas has long been accused of placing bounties on aid workers and misusing humanitarian supplies to fund their operations.
