Ahmadore is unequivocal: The current regime is profoundly illegitimate, responsible for funding terrorism and oppressing its people. He compares the IRGC to the Gestapo—an internal security force more committed to regime survival than national defense.

He elaborates that the real power lies in the IRGC, which has deeply embedded itself in every aspect of Iranian society—economy, military, media—and is unlikely to voluntarily relinquish its influence. Nevertheless, he remains optimistic that internal opposition, fueled by economic hardship, repression, and social unrest, could eventually overthrow the regime, much like the Shah’s fall in 1979.
