Bazuk, who called himself a “Jew hater,” expressed admiration for violent resistance and praised Hamas militants, including a notorious figure from the October 7 terror attacks. He was actively involved in anti-Israel protests at Columbia University, often visibly wearing Hamas’s signature green headband, and had plans to “light someone on fire,” according to his own messages. Federal agents found him in possession of weapons, cash, and extremist material, including a photo of Hamas’s operational mastermind.
