Ukrainian officials revealed that the assault involved drones launched from cleverly disguised shipping containers. These containers, built or assembled inside Russia, were transported on trucks and parked discreetly near Russian military airfields. Each container featured a retractable false top, remotely opened to launch small FPV (First Person View) drones armed with precision-guided munitions targeting Russia’s bomber fleet. Crucially, the drivers of these trucks were reportedly unaware of the lethal cargo they carried, an example of the operation's clever deception.
