Despite the vast number of troops they can deploy, these forces are often poorly trained and lack the mobility and coordination necessary to breach well-prepared Ukrainian defenses. On the other hand, Ukraine continues to withstand relentless drone, artillery, and rocket attacks, making the conflict intensely close-quarters and difficult for either side to claim clear dominance.
