The operation, involving 48 arrests, uncovered a criminal enterprise led by two Colombian women and a Spanish man, accused of abducting over 1,000 women from Colombia and Venezuela within a year.
Most victims were lured under false promises of legitimate work in cleaning or beauty industries but were then forcibly confined and exploited in CD clubs disguised as boarding houses or hostels. They endured constant surveillance, limited outside contact, and forced labor around the clock.
