In a region famed for its towering skyscrapers and sprawling artificial islands, Kuwait is taking a unique approach with its Sea City project. Instead of building out into the ocean like Dubai’s Palm Jumeirah or the World Islands, Kuwait aims to bring the sea into the desert, effectively doubling its coastline and creating a luxurious, naturalistic coastal environment within salt flats that have traditionally been inhospitable for development.
