Resentment typically manifests as a persistent anger or bitterness toward someone else, often rooted in perceived wrongs or injustices. Guilt, on the other hand, involves feelings of remorse or self-blame over one's actions—or sometimes over things beyond one's control. While these emotions seem different in outward expression, they share a common trait: they both serve as emotional burdens that drain energy and vitality.
Both resentment and guilt are considered among the most destructive emotions because they hinder forgiveness, lead to chronic stress, and can even contribute to physical ailments. It is crucial, therefore, to find ways to release these burdens in order to regain clarity, peace, and health.
