Part 9/15:
Tensions along Israel’s northern border continue to escalate as Israeli fighter jets launched targeted strikes against Hezbollah positions in Lebanon. In a series of airstrikes on Sunday, Israel targeted tunnels used by Hezbollah to transport weapons between Lebanon and Syria, along with weapons depots and rocket launchers deemed an immediate threat to Israeli security.
These strikes follow a recent series of confrontations, including a notable attack in the Becca Valley that killed six Hezbollah fighters and injured two Lebanese citizens. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) has attributed these military actions to Hezbollah’s ongoing terrorist activities, despite a ceasefire agreement that purportedly ended hostilities in November 2024 after over a year of conflict.
