The ceasefire, brokered with the assistance of the U.N. and involving Israel, Lebanon, France, and the U.S., requires Hezbollah to withdraw north of the Lani River and dismantle weapons caches. Yet, ongoing Israeli military operations suggest that Iran-backed Hezbollah still maintains a significant presence, with many weapons and infrastructure remaining operational within southern Lebanon. The IDF continues to seize weapons and conduct strikes as needed to preempt threats.
