Part 7/11:

Loramoor’s grounds hosted a wide array of structures crafted to serve the estate’s large staff and Moore’s passions. His love for horses was reflected in a massive oval-shaped stable capable of housing sixty horses and including a riding ring at its center. The stable was a marvel, featuring brass-edged oak stalls, woven willow flooring, and upstairs quarters for grooms and staff.

Additional buildings included a grand entrance lodge, guest villas, a gardener’s cottage, greenhouse, laundry, and farm structures. During its heyday, around 140 employees maintained the estate’s extensive grounds, buildings, and livestock, exemplifying the scale of Moore’s rural luxury.
