An Artistic Vision: The Gardens of Kimberly Crest
Helen Kimberly’s passion for gardening transformed the estate into a European-style alpine paradise. After acquiring additional land, she enlisted her son-in-law, G. Edwin Burgström, a talented architect, to design a series of terraced gardens reminiscent of Renaissance Italy. Completed in 1909, these gardens became a stunning landscape of manicured terraces, stone sculptures, and lush foliage.
