Revival and Restoration

Fortunately, in 1979, the Italian-founded winery chain Banfi Vintners bought Rynwood, recognizing its historic and architectural significance. Renaming it Villa Banfi, the company embarked on a comprehensive restoration. Over three years, craftsmen repaired stone masonry, restored woodwork, and revitalized stained glass windows, carefully preserving the original period details.
