For furnishings, the Knights turned to the renowned Parisian firm Jules Allard & Sons, importing period-appropriate décor that infused the mansion with European elegance. Entering through the mahogany doors into a marble foyer with a sweeping staircase, visitors were greeted by opulent details: 18th-century European fireplaces, intricate marble flooring, and expansive windows that bathed each room in natural light.
Each interior space was meticulously curated to reflect its unique character. For example, the dining room celebrated a creamy white palette complemented with green textiles, creating a harmonious and regal ambiance. Over time, additional wings, corridors, and rear avenues expanded the estate, while improvements to the gardens and grounds further enhanced its stature.
