Part 7/13:
Completed in 1925, the estate was a sprawling, two-story structure of white stucco, red-tile roofs, and arched balconies. Visitors approaching the estate traveled along a winding driveway leading to a gate guarded by a stone arch. Beyond lay a central courtyard with a handcrafted Mexican tile fountain, vibrant cacti, and exotic flowers, evoking a secluded villa in southern Spain.
The mansion itself featured vaulted ceilings, large arched windows, and opulent rooms filled with luxury. An enormous swimming pool stretched across one terrace, complete with a lavish barbecue area and exotic bird aviaries, illustrating the luxury lifestyle of Hollywood’s elite.
