In 1904, he and his father founded the Western Motor Car Company, which distributed some of the earliest models of Packard automobiles in California. By 1915, Anthony had earned the reputation of “the leading Packard dealer in the world,” selling one in every seven Packards globally. His business empire extended beyond automotive sales into gasoline and fuel distribution, establishing Anthony as a dominant figure in the region’s economic landscape.
