Part 10/13:
Anthony’s personal bedroom is decorated with painted wall panels and plush velvet carpets. His bathroom orchestrates art with mosaic tiling, depicting elegant swans and flora—each with unique, handcrafted mosaic art, making every space a work of art in itself.
A Legacy of Ownership and Preservation
Anthony enjoyed his estate until his wife Rosemary’s passing. After her death, in 1950, he sold the property and surrounding land to Sir Daniel J. Donohoe and his wife, Countess Bernadine Murphy Donohoe. Anthony spent his remaining years involved in philanthropy elsewhere, while the Donohoe family owned and maintained the castle for approximately two decades.
