Known as the "Queen of Spa Resorts," it combined medicinal mineral springs, a prestigious racetrack, and luxury hotels, making it a magnet for America’s upper class each season. By the late 19th century, Saratoga had earned its reputation, with Broadway Street bursting with silk dresses, jewelry, and feathered headpieces during August celebrations.
