The New Ceasefire Proposal
Amid the chaos in Syria, a separate but equally complex crisis is unfolding in Gaza. Israel has submitted an updated ceasefire proposal to Hamas, the Islamist group governing Gaza, aiming for a 60-day truce that could allow the release of remaining hostages held in the enclave.
