Part 6/11:
With profits from his cinematic pursuits, Frank Marion embarked on building his dream home—the estate known locally as Marion Castle. Construction began in 1914 in the affluent Chippan Point neighborhood of Stamford, Connecticut. Marion commissioned the renowned architectural firm Hunt & Hunt, by then led by the famous Richard Morris Hunt's protégés, to design a home inspired by French châteaux. The structure was completed in 1916 and named "Tir Bôn," meaning “The Good Land” in French, perhaps symbolizing his good fortune.
