Part 2/14:
The first wave involved pagers, procured by Hezbollah, which exploded in Lebanon and Syria after receiving a specific message around 3:30 p.m. local time. This message, believed to be routed from Hezbollah's leadership, triggered hidden explosives embedded in the pagers. A security source indicated that explosives had been planted covertly inside the pagers—approximately 5,000 units ordered by Hezbollah from a Hungarian firm, BAC Consulting, with the devices subsequently routed through a shell company akin to a drop-shipping operation. Subsequently, a second wave of explosions targeted handheld radios (walkie-talkies), purchased alongside the pagers five months prior, which also detonated upon receiving specific commands.
