The emails, sent in late June and early July, included excerpts from sensitive campaign material stolen from President Trump’s team, with the apparent aim of influencing the 2024 presidential race. The agencies also reported attempts by Iranian operatives to leak nonpublic Trump campaign data to major media outlets from June onward. While it remains uncertain whether the recipients engaged with or utilized this material, all contacts reportedly never responded to the Iranian hackers.
