Ongoing Conflict in Lebanon: Israel's Covert Operations Intensify

Today’s headlines are dominated by escalating tensions in Lebanon, where a series of covert Egyptian-style sabotage operations are believed to be unfolding against Hezbollah. Yesterday, thousands of pagers laced with explosive materials were detonated across various parts of Lebanon, resulting in at least 12 deaths—primarily Hezbollah operatives—and nearly 3,000 injuries. This attack marks a significant escalation, coming just a day after a similar incident involving thousands of walkie-talkies exploded in what Israel alleges was a targeted operation.
