Part 2/9:
Starting from Tuesday night, South Korean military officials observed the first of many balloons crossing the border from North Korea. By Wednesday morning, authorities had spotted over 50 balloons in total, with approximately 260 of these items found scattered across the southern border region. Some of these balloons traveled extensive distances, landing hundreds of miles south of the North Korean border. The contents included not only refuse but also human excrement, an act widely considered both provocative and inhumane.
