In an intriguing twist, wait times at Disney World have plummeted to levels that U.S. theme park fans might find hard to believe. Recent data shows an average wait time of just 21 minutes at Disney, a figure comparable to the period at the end of 2021 — the last significant low point pre-pandemic.
Universal Studios Orlando has also reported similarly low wait times, with recent weeks showing an average of about 19 minutes. These figures suggest the parks are nearly deserted, with crowds so sparse that visitors can walk onto major attractions without delays. Sky describes this situation as “the parks being as empty as they can get, considering the historical data.”
