Part 3/9:
Topo Chico - Sparkling mineral water with PFAS levels at 9.76 parts per trillion (ppt). Despite being in glass bottles, the plastic caps can leach chemicals under heat, and a past recall for bacterial contamination raises concerns.
Polar Seltzer - Contains PFAS at 6.44 ppt, often sourced from municipal water supplies in New England with old infrastructure, making contamination more likely.
Bubbly (PepsiCo) - Holds roughly 2.2 ppt of PFAS and contains "natural flavors" (which could hide synthetic additives) and estrogen-mimicking plastics in can liners.
Poland Spring Zesty Lime Sparkling - Has PFAS at 1.6 ppt. Its flavored processing involves additional plastics and storage tanks, increasing chemical leaching.
