Complementing SpaceX’s efforts, Axiom Space is constructing a new, modular commercial space station. Unlike the ISS, Axiom’s station aims to be more flexible, scalable, and commercially driven. Just recently, Axiom prepared for an important milestone: a two-week mission to the existing ISS, scheduled for Wednesday, known as AX 4. This expedition will serve as a crucial preparatory step for future missions, testing the logistics and systems necessary for assembling and operating the new station modules.
