Bleacher Report’s suggestion that the A’s target Klay Holmes from the Mets is perplexing. The Mets recently signed Holmes, and dealing him seems unlikely unless a major trade upheaval occurs. The A’s would be better served focusing on their bullpen with controllable arms or adding starting pitching that can manage home run issues.
Houston Astros: Reassessing the Rotation
The Astros are recommended to pursue Mitch Keller or Sunny Gray to bolster their pitching. Keller’s high ground-balls rate is appealing, but his high contact rate and struggles against right-handed batters could be a concern. Gray, with a solid track record and less pull-happy tendencies, seems a more fitting fit for Houston’s ballpark.
