Part 9/12:
Participants often experience swollen tendons, loss of toenails, injuries, and tightening of muscles, making movement painful. Sleep deprivation and continuous physical challenges can lead to dangerous health risks and long-term injuries.
The Capstone and the Cost
Out of hundreds who start, only a minority graduate—often just around 20-30%. For instance, one class started with over 300 men and graduated with about 15. The attrition rate underscores how grueling and selective the process is. The pain, exhaustion, and mental toll eliminate most before they even reach graduation.
