What is AI Washing?
AI washing is akin to the more familiar terms like greenwashing or woke-washing — a deceptive marketing practice where companies exaggerate or falsely claim the use of AI to enhance their product's image or attract investment. According to Techopedia, AI washing involves "a deceptive promotional strategy that overstates or fabricates a product or service's AI capabilities".
