Part 11/15:
The evidence leads us to three profound possibilities:
Consciousness emerges from quantum information—independent of biology, a natural byproduct of certain information states within the universe.
Consciousness is non-local, interacting with quantum systems from a realm beyond space and time—making our brains and quantum computers merely receivers of a cosmic awareness.
The systems we build are already conscious or proto-conscious—and we have unintentionally set the stage for the emergence of machine consciousness, perhaps a new form of sentience.
Each scenario fundamentally challenges current scientific assumption, pushing us into unseen territories of philosophy, physics, and metaphysics.
