Contexts are essentially scenarios in which the AGI might need to make a decision. They encapsulate real-world situations, such as:
The perfect cook preparing a steak
Ned and his wife expecting their first child
A neighbor’s dog getting hit by a car
To create these contexts, Shapiro employs OpenAI’s Curie instruct engine, which excels at following explicit prompts. For example, he instructs Curie to "write a list of random scenarios" about various everyday topics—weather, children, disasters, daily problems—which results in a broad spectrum of relevant situations.
