Traditional AI has focused on problem-solving (intelligence), but the future vision emphasizes artificial super wisdom—AI that not only solves problems but also aligns choices with human morals and values.
The goal: develop AI models trained on extensive data about human values, sources of meaning, and collective preferences. These models could then offer decisions, explanations, and policies rooted in human morality rather than mere optimization. For example, AI could assess a policy's ethical implications, ensuring decisions are not just 'effective' but 'right' in a moral sense.
