However, it's important to recognize that cognitive horizons aren't one-sided. Human minds may excel in arts, social skills, and emotional intelligence, where their horizons extend further than those of other species or beings. For example, a goldfish or pigeon has a vastly narrower cognitive horizon—understanding only basic stimuli and responses—compared to humans, whose reasoning, language, and abstract thinking surpass theirs significantly. Despite this, communication with animals is limited because they cannot comprehend human concepts owing to their vastly different cognitive boundaries.
