While IQ measures, such as 130 or 140 IQ, are imperfect, they are roughly indicative of the brain's capacity to grasp any cognitive primitive with enough effort, whether in quantum physics, chess, or programming. Speed and efficiency—often correlated with fluid intelligence—are crucial, too. They determine how fast and resourcefully information can be processed and manipulated.

In AI, the intelligence optimum is reached when models can represent all necessary primitives and manipulate them efficiently. Once this threshold is crossed, models achieve what can be called general intelligence, capable of performing any cognitive task with minimal constraints—though often at the cost of massive computational resources.
