Future organizations could resemble decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs), owned collectively via blockchain, with no need for human managers or CEOs. Capital assets—the infrastructure—will be managed robotically, with ownership distributed among individuals and communities.
This shift parallels historical transitions away from the robber barons and industrial giants of the early 20th century, replaced eventually by more distributed, democratized models of ownership and operation.
