Creating a single AI agent is now relatively straightforward thanks to various platforms and frameworks. These platforms allow developers to spin up independent agents that can perform specific functions. The real leap is in scaling this concept—rapidly instantiating hundreds or thousands of agents, forming what is called an agent swarm.
This is akin to software deployment, where large-scale systems run inside containers—self-contained units of software that can be replicated and managed efficiently. Visualize each agent running in a container; by doing so, organizations can deploy billions of agents at a moment’s notice, each capable of making autonomous decisions, interacting independently, and collaborating as a collective.
