Maragi is an acronym — Microservices Architecture for Robotics and Artificial General Intelligence. Conceptualized around 2017–2018, it is a type of cognitive architecture designed to emulate human-like thinking. Unlike traditional brain-mimetic models that attempt structural realism, Maragi focuses on functional mimicry: approximating neural functions through modular, interpretable services.
Maragi leverages natural language as its thinking medium, making its internal thought process transparent and interpretable. Its primary aim is to develop systems that are functionally sentient (possessing a form of machine consciousness) and autonomous — capable of learning and evolving on their own.
