Despite the promise, Tesla faces a fundamental bottleneck: Training the most advanced AI systems requires the right combination of hardware, data volume, and vehicle participation. The current reliance on HW3-based search engines means that new hardware improvements cannot be fully exploited until a substantial fleet of HW5 vehicles is operational.
