One particularly distressing incident involved Heidi waking up with claw marks on her cheek, and subsequent nights, her father reported scratches on his body. The family’s fear grew, and they considered moving, but the spiritualist perspective suggested that the gift of spirit contact might be intrinsic to Heidi herself, difficult to escape.
