On October 30, 1975, Martha Moxley, a vibrant 15-year-old girl, went out during Mischief Night—the night before Halloween—only to be brutally assaulted, sexually assaulted, and murdered. Her mutilated body was discovered on her family's lawn early on October 31st, with her pants pulled down, bearing the scars of a savage attack.
