Part 2/8:
A central point in this debate is the distinction between what science can declare and what it can investigate. Science, by its nature, is a tool for understanding phenomena that can be observed, tested, and replicated within a framework of empirical evidence. However, it is not equipped—and perhaps not designed—to definitively answer questions about the objective existence of all reported phenomena.
This humility is essential. As the argument goes, science should acknowledge its limitations rather than dismiss reports of paranormal experiences outright. The diversity of human experience and the vast scope of reality mean that dismissiveness could hinder potentially groundbreaking discoveries.
