Yet, little has been done in practice—no hate preachers have been deported, and high-profile visa cancellations, like that of Kanye West for anti-Semitic remarks, remain isolated incidents. Instead, the government has taken a different approach, such as barring certain figures, like the Israeli Muslim speaker and former Israeli official, seemingly as symbolic gestures rather than policy shifts.
