In layman's terms, increasing computational power tenfold could roughly double an AI’s capabilities. For instance, doubling the scale might mean a significant jump in intelligence—potentially from an average or “IQ” of 100 to 200. Although diminishing returns exist, Elon suggests that there's still substantial room for growth, particularly as we harness a larger share of the sun’s energy and eventually the galaxy’s resources for supercomputing.
