Currently, scientists are observing a fascinating phenomenon around Three-i Atlas: the appearance of multiple jets, more than seven, emerging from its surface. Some jets are directed toward the Sun, while others are moving away. These jets indicate active processes occurring on or within the object, though their precise nature remains uncertain.
Additionally, the object passed its closest approach to the Sun on October 29th. Since then, it has become notably "bluer" and five times brighter than before its solar encounter—a remarkable change, considering that objects heated by the Sun usually become redder. The increased brightness and color shift hint at complex and possibly unprecedented physical processes.
